    Ko-ken’s 3/8” drive, 6-point, semi-deep chrome socket set uses the NUT GRIP® design to securely hold non-magnetic nuts and bolts during removal and installation. The internal ball-and-spring system applies pressure on opposing flats to keep the fastener seated so you can work faster with fewer dropped fasteners.

    How NUT GRIP® Works

    NUT GRIP® holds non-magnetic nuts/bolts using two ball bearings retained by a spring steel ring. As the fastener enters the socket, the ball bearings push against the spring system on opposing flats to keep the fastener from falling out—without relying on magnets.

    Why Semi-Deep Matters

    Semi-deep length is a “best of both” fit: more reach than standard sockets for studs and slightly recessed fasteners, but more compact than deep sockets for tighter swing-room and better control on a 3/8" ratchet.
